Nestled between the tranquil Tingwall and Asta Lochs in the Shetland Isles sits the peaceful Asta Golf Course, Scotland’s most Northerly 9 hole course.
Built on beautifully flat farmland, our course makes the ideal setting for both beginner and pro golfers. With individuality built into every hole, our course offers the chance for the big hitters to let fly, while also offering a sense of fun with some wonderfully challenging holes to play. Asta Golf Course not only provides players with an exciting game but the beautiful and secluded Tingwall Valley also plays host to an array of wildlife including: Swans, Oystercatchers, Artic Terns & Shetland Ponies. Along with its wildlife, the fertile Tingwall Valley is home to some of Shetland’s spectacular Wild flowers making for a colourful backdrop
to our peaceful course.
Our 9 hole Course has it's tees switched mid month to give the player two very different courses.
Our 'Classic' course is our original with the shortest hole only 58 yards and only the flag visible from the tee.
Our 'New Course' has our longest hole with 400 yards.
